Artifacts is a partnership of David Keef & Johanna Moore who have been friends since childhood.  They started their adult life together in 1987 when they reconnected that summer and David moved to Philadelphia while Johanna finished her final year at Temple University.  While Johanna studied, David worked for her father in his Lancaster antiques business selling French antiques for him at the local shows.  Now, twenty years later, and several successive moves to better work spaces, we work out of our Farmingdale home where we also run a small poultry and produce farm in the summer months.  We breed Heritage Black Turkeys, Large Black Cochins, and Red Pyle Modern Game Chickens.  We grow tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, and herbs to sell locally.  We are also starting a large patch of shiitake mushrooms on oak logs we placed in a shady spot on our land.  Clients contact us for a convenient appointment to meet at our Topsham Showroom where we have most of our samples and portfolio books, or at our Farmingdale workshop where they can "talk turkey" with the livestock, stop to smell the flowers, or step into the workshop to see projects in their various stages of completion.  We have an extensive library of reference material to  research fine art,  and to match frame design styles with the style and time period of your collection.  We have experience designing unique frames and finishes for entire exhibits and interior concepts.  Contact us by phone or e-mail to see what we can do to bring your ideas to life!                                                                                     (Can you spot the rooster in the photo at left?)
